History

In April of 2000, after 14 years of experience in the wholesale distribution industry, the owner of Commonwealth Building Products, started his business in a small location in Campbellsville, Kentucky, focusing mainly on window an door sales to both remodelers and builders.

As we continued to add new products, Commonwealth continued to grow. In June of 2002 a move was made to a new, larger facility. Commonwealth has grown into four locations. Campbellsville, Bardstown, Elizabethtown and Elite Building Products in Nicholasville, Ky. From these four locations we serve over 40 counties in Central Kentucky.
